December 2020

Hello,

On behalf of everyone at Weller Group, I would like to thank our clients, friends and family for your understanding, consideration and patience throughout this year of uncertainty. We have faced many challenges together, from market volatility to transitioning to a virtual work environment. Whatever the challenge, we were able to continue to provide you with the customer service you should expect, albeit in a different way than you've likely experienced in the past.

Since March, the Weller Group building has been restricted to a limited number of in-person staff, and we have limited building entry for only special circumstances in order to maintain the social distancing requested by our government, as well as for the health and safety of both staff and clients. We have conducted advisor-client review meetings, staff meetings, and processed client requests through phone calls, web conferences and Zoom video meetings. We miss the personal interaction that we were used to before COVID, and are looking forward to the day when we can safely reopen our doors to the public. We will keep you posted on that as we continue to monitor the information provided to us with regard to health and safety measures.

Although 2020 has had its drawbacks, we have acclimated to the changes brought forth by a global pandemic and are embracing the advances in technology that Commonwealth and other companies have provided and improved upon. We can produce and process most of our business online, allowing for documents to be signed digitally and checks to be mobile deposited, therefore eliminating error and reducing processing time. Staff can continue to work remotely if necessary, with little to no interruption or impact on productivity. Some might find the lack of a commute, especially during winter in Upstate New York, to be a work benefit.

I want to end this with a recent Investment News article authored by Kristine McManus, vice president and chief business development officer at Commonwealth Financial Network, with a focus on 5 silver linings to be thankful for in 2020. I hope you are able to reflect on the past 9 months and find your own silver lining, as I'm sure there is one, it may just look different from person to person.

As always, if you need anything please contact us by phone at 315-524-8000 or email us at info@wellergroupllc.com

Have a wonderful holiday season and cheers to a new and better year in 2021!

Jennifer Doell
Director of Client Service & Practice Management
